Sense of Insecurity and Exodus of Hindu Families from Kairana, Uttar Pradesh

To The Chairperson,

National Human Rights Commission

Dear Sir,

We are immensely disturbed at the reports of the exodus of Hindu families of Kairana, in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, mere 70 km away from Delhi due to the fear to their lives and the security concern of their women.

We request you to take serious note of the exodus by Hindu families of the area and assure that no community ahs to flee from its native place due to fear and injustice being meted out by the people of the other community. Some concrete measures should be taken to ensure that the lost glory of peaceful co-existence of people of different communities can be reestablished in the region.
